Finally arrived in Singapore! After a strenuous day of traveling/lugging around our stuff, we arrived in Hard Rock Hotel on Sentosa Island. While we were waiting for Team Helios' registration, we encountered several teams, including Tsuiso, Nova and equiNOX. LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!
The computational fluid dynamics software company Symscape is no stranger to F1 in Schools. Helping a previous team win national championships, their influence is very prominent in this field. We have gotten permission from them to use their software, in exchange for places on our shirts and vehicles. Check out their site and sophisticated products here.
Huge thanks to Jonathan Charles, a company responsible for the creation of gorgeous furniture. Check their site out here.
Thanks to an amazing tool called Sketchfab, we were able to upload the design of the car in glorious, interactive 3D. Read more about what the designer has to say about it in "The Car" page, as well as a satisfying video with all the parts moving about.

Once again, a massive thanks to the people at EXO Travel who made all this possible. Travel agency EXO Travel has joined Team Helios in the journey! Learn more about them here. Team Helios business cards are looking slick courtesy of . The left side features our logo with a translucent background. The right side features our contact details, which will be replaced to include our individual contact details for each respective member.
Our Team Manager Kisum has taken the liberty of proving that it is indeed, translucent in the photo below. The new logo features a horse, originating from the legendary stallions belonging to the eponymous Greek Titan. Mythology tells tales of the horses pulling the Chariot of the Sun, which governed the rising and setting of the sun, represented by the shades of purple polygons. See how our logo has evolved! |
